Aireoidh mé uaim an scoil seo…
We have been very busy learning about World War 2 this term. We have created some wonderful projects and concept maps on World War 2 as well as studying ‘propaganda’ in art. Take a look!
We were studying forces in science. After we had learned all about air resistance and gravity, we set about designing and making our very own parachutes. We did a safety test first to check how well each parachute worked and fixed any design flaws. We are looking forward to setting off three eggs attached to our parachutes this week, hopefully they will have a safe landing!
We have been studying the novel ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas’ by John Boyne. We have really enjoyed the novel and can’t wait to find out the ending!
We created some wonderful pieces of art! We examined the different techniques of using crepe paper to create some pretty flowers for our umbrellas!
