Third class kicked off the year with a ‘tasty’ start by making various flavours of milkshakes. Lots of delicious drinks were enjoyed by all!
We were working on writing procedures in English. We made some very tasty Halloween chocolate apples and wrote recipes for you to try at home!
Third class have been learning about the Vikings in Ireland. The Vikings first came to Ireland in 795AD on boats called longships and attacked and raided Irish monasteries!
Maths Station in Third Class
Mr. O’ Connor, Ms. McKay and our teachers, Ms. Boylan and Ms. Murphy, organise 40 minute maths activities and games for us that help us really understand what we’re doing in maths. We think it is fun and we are learning too… so our teachers like it also!

Third class celebrated Pancake Tuesday by putting some tasty toppings on their pancakes! Delicious!

Vincent Van Gogh was born in Holland in 1853. He painted over 900 paintings in 10 years but only sold 1 of them. Third class created some of his most famous work
We finally finished our projects on Poland!! We made some food native to Poland and we presented our projects to our class. I think you’ll agree that we created some wonderful projects!!

Third class are growing some fruit and vegetables like spinach, tomatoes, rocket, cucumber and parsley. Yum!
