We’ve had a busy time here in Junior Infants since starting back in August. We were learning all about the signs of Autumn this term. We used autumn colours to created these fabulous trees and squirrels.
Junior Infants have been learning lots of nursery rhymes during their first term at school. Can you guess what nursery rhyme these sheep came from?
Junior Infants have had lots of fun in our new Aistear room. The theme this month is The Restaurant.
This term we have enjoyed getting to know each other and our different families.
We are very lucky to have access to tablets to make our learning even more fun.
In Junior Infants we love reading and going to the new library is a real treat!
We were also busy painting spooky pictures for Halloween!
This term we have continued to learn lots of new topics such as the water cycle and we love seeing all our beautiful work on display!!
We carried out lots of science experiments and really enjoyed seeing the different effects that water has on various objects!!
World book day was a massive success and we were super excited to hear some of the mammies and daddies reading
We thoroughly enjoyed Pancake Tuesday!! We decorated our pancakes with a little bit of everything
We are learning all about the doctor’s surgery in Aistear. We even made get well cards for our friends and family
The Fire Brigade came to visit us. It was so exciting to try out all the different equipment!!
Every week we really look forward to Maths and English stations. This is a chance for us to have fun with our new learning.
We really enjoyed creative week and exploring with lego.
Aistear continues to be lots of fun. Most recently we learned all about the farm.
For Easter we went all out making yummy buns and beautiful art.
Our tour to Causey farm exceeded all our expectations, we had a wonderful time!
We were lucky to take part in gymnastic lessons. We really enjoyed all the different movements.
Sports day is always our favourite day of the year. Lots of fun was had by all.
