Tá fáilte romhat go rang na Naíonáin Shóisearacha
We’ve had a busy first term in St Clare’s. It’s gone so fast because we’re having so much fun. We’ve enjoyed creating lots of new things.
We made our own Gingerbread Men
During wellness week we practised some yoga and meditation.
We’ve been having a blast during Aistear. Our theme this month in Fairytales and Fantasy. The wonderful resources donated by families last year are being put to good use!
Hot and Cold
Here in Ms Cooney’s Junior Infants, we were busy learning about heat; how things can melt and freeze. We melted chocolate and made Rice Krispie buns! Yum!
Our theme in Aistear this month is The Doctor’s Surgery! We have been role playing doctors, nurses and patients, making bodies in junk art, making Get Well Soon cards and lots of other fun things!
Here in Ms Macken’s class, we have been practising our cutting skills while learning about 2-D shapes
Open the door to see our families!
Check out our cool polar bears!
We have been working hard on our writing. We love to write on our whiteboards.
In Ms Kelly’s class, we have been very busy writing letters to our class fairy Mochara.
Junior infants have been enjoying GAA coaching from Graham and have learnt lots of new skills.
Audio Engineers in Ms Cooney’s Class
We were busy Audio Engineers this term! In the imaginary land of Hibernation, many animals needed our help! The animals forgot to wake up for Spring. So we designed, tested and created our instruments. When we were happy with our creations, we composed a musical piece that sounded like a Spring Day. We had so much fun!
