We really enjoyed Wellbeing Week. We made an extra big effort to be especially kind to each other and drew a picture of our special friends.
This term we were super excited to finally read our new readers. We have worked so hard learning our sounds and blending our words.

We are all delighted to be starting our first year of school in Junior infants and we’ve got off to a busy start so far, hot air ballooning into our first year in big school!
We are having an absolute ‘hoot’ here in Junior Infants!!
We’ve been learning the nursery rhyme Humpy Dumpty. We made our own Humpty Dumpty’s and stuck him together again with plasters!!!!
In our school, the boys and girls work extremely hard. We have excellent manners and are kind to our friends and teachers alike and as a thank you for our effort we get to enjoy the playground on a Friday!!
We have started literacy station teaching in Junior Infants. All of us are really enjoying the many activities in our literacy stations especially the kinetic sand. We learn best when we are having fun!!
We have really settled into school life here in Junior Infants and have made lots of friends. We love all the fun activities that we get to do such as lovely Autumn walks. On our recent Autumn walk, we looked for all things Autumnal such as coloured leaves, acorns and conkers!!!
We’ve been busy creating some wonderful art here in Junior Infants!!
