We have been having so much fun here in Senior Infants learning and playing through Aistear! So far we have explored the Superhero and Fairytale themes.
We have built some very cool superhero vehicles, dressed up and went on hero rescue missions! We have built huge castles and towers and written our own stories. We have had banquets and balls as kings and queens! So many adventures going on!
We’ve had a busy start to senior infants. Checkout what we’ve been learning about.
We’re going on a Nature Hunt!
We went on an autumn nature hunt! We’ve been learning about autumn; about how the trees loose their leaves and how some animals hibernate in the cold weather. We had such fun collecting leaves, conkers and acorns.
Senior infants were learning all about the fire station and fire fighting this month. They really enjoyed it and it was all topped off by a visit from the local fire station. Our local fire man John Lovett generously gave his time to show the children all around the fire engine. I think their favourite part was spraying the hose !!
Senior infants finally got out to explore after the long winter! They went on a spring nature walk to investigate if spring had finally arrived!
They are happy to confirm that it is here and they really hope that the sunshine is here to stay. The they noticed many signs of spring including buds on the trees, flowers blooming and a nice warm breeze.
