We are different!!!

We are each individual and unique. We discussed the ways in which we differ. We looked in a mirror and drew a self portrait

Fairytale Sequencing

We have been learning about lots of new fairytales here in Senior Infants and just to show how well we now know our fairytales, we sequenced pictures based on the fairytales. Here are some pictures of us hard at work demonstrating our sequencing skills.

We have been discussing the season of Autumn and the changes it brings. We made Autumn trees using autumn colours. We also made hedgehogs by sticking Autumn leaves on their spines.

10@ 10

Here in senior infants we have been getting active every day and enjoying our 10@10. The children are loving the active breaks during the day! It gets our bodies moving and helps keeps our concentration. We plan to keep it going all year!

Spatial Awareness

We have been learning about Spatial Awareness and we used these words in PE and played games. We also learned the song ‘Hokey Cokey’.We had great fun and did not know we were doing maths!

Houses and Homes

We have been learning about Houses & Homes. We learned all the language associated with different types of homes, looked at materials used in constructing homes and designed and made their own homes.
